Chronic diseases – What role do the teeth play in them*.
The avalanche has long since hit us
Did you know that chronic diseases or chronic inflammations are on the rise and that several million people in Europe alone suffer from them?
The rates of increase in this area in recent decades have been exponential rather than linear.
The role of teeth – greater than most suspect
There are many reasons for this, but the teeth play a prominent role.
It is not uncommon for harmful substances to be found in incorrectly treated teeth, which often cause problems as a result. These can be amalgam fillings or root-treated teeth that emit toxins that can radiate throughout the body, causing immune system overload.
Chronic does not hurt!
Chronic inflammation can often trigger a long course of suffering
Acute knows everyone
In medicine, a distinction is made between acute and chronic inflammation. Acute inflammation occurs suddenly and sometimes very violently. It can be detected by redness and swelling of the tissues, a sudden rise in temperature, and certain pain symptoms. Just think about your last nail bed infection, inner ear infection or tonsillitis – then you know what I mean and you immediately remember what acute inflammation feels like, right?
Chronic does not hurt!… but often triggers a long path of suffering
In chronic inflammation, on the other hand, many of these symptoms often do not appear, or are only noticeable to a greatly reduced extent. They often develop slowly, but permanently weaken the immune system and inevitably lead to its overload. Often a chronic disease is difficult to detect – both by the physician and the patient. Those who are chronically ill often only notice that a certain area in the body feels different or even weakened. Anyone who has a chronic inflammation in the body often has to endure a long ordeal before the actual disease is identified and can be treated.
Chronic diseases include, above all, allergies, diabetes or rheumatic diseases in the joints, intolerances, multiple sclerosis, Alzheimer’s or Parkinson’s disease. But of course cancer, chronic intestinal diseases, heart complaints, headaches, tinnitus, migraine or respiratory diseases also fall under the umbrella term chronic disease.
The list could be continued almost endlessly.
Conclusion: Chronic diseases have different faces
The causes of chronic inflammation are manifold
In addition to dental problems, there are several other triggers that cause a person to become chronically ill. An important parameter is, for example, a generalized undersupply of essential vitamins and minerals – and this often throughout a lifetime! Similarly, the increased use of pesticides or other pest control products puts a strain on the human body. These are absorbed through food, thus attacking the immune system and eventually triggering chronic inflammation. Microplastics, preservatives or heavy metals can also make a person chronically ill. Last but not least, the widespread spread of mobile telephony and the associated cell phone radiation should not go unmentioned, which can also trigger an overload in the immune system.
The problem is often in the mouth
As already described at the beginning, the problem is very often in the tooth, mouth and jaw area. When restoring affected, broken teeth, many dentists have very often chosen a non-biological way and used amalgam for many years out of ignorance. This substitute is full of harmful mercury. Likewise, certain plastics can also be irritating to the immune system, causing chronic illness in the long run. They often contain plasticizers that can trigger certain allergies. Root canal treatments can also be a problem. Dead teeth resulting from root canal treatment often contain toxins that are suspected of permanently overloading the immune system. Via the bloodstream, these enter all organs – again and again. The so-called NICOs* are also among the pathogens from the jaw. These are mostly unrecognized cavities in the jawbone, which are like a hazardous waste dump full of toxins and germs.
What can you do?
The approach of biological dentistry is to remove everything from the mouth area that can lead to an overload in the immune system and cause chronic illness. Sick or damaged teeth, metals or jaw foci act like a “dripping faucet” that can cause the barrel to overflow and can thus lead to a permanent overload in the immune system and make chronically ill in the long run. Anyone who has developed such a chronic inflammation or would like to avoid it with the associated stress should have their teeth examined and eliminate these disruptive factors with the treatment options of biological dentistry.
