After 3 to 6 months, the long-term temporaries are removed again by us and the teeth or implants are prepared again, i.e. the so-called “fine tuning” is carried out, in which the later crown margin is placed extremely precisely exactly at gum level or minimally below it. Then the impression is taken for the dental technician.
For single posterior crowns, a digital impression is taken and the crown is fabricated immediately and placed the same day after a few hours.
For large works or for crowns in the esthetic range, a conventional impression is taken and transferred to a plaster model. The master dental technician produces the crowns on this. These are viewed together with you before final cementation (try-in appointment) and modified again if necessary. Depending on the number of crowns, there is a period of 5 to 10 working days between the impression date and the cementation date.
