Safe and clean amalgam removal – the right way!
Important information from your partner for health and teeth:
We are the first internationally certified practice in Germany (IAOMT, International Academy of oral medicine and toxicology) for safe amalgam restoration (SMART technique).
Did you know that amalgam can be hazardous to your health?*
Amalgam and other metal fillings are suspected to be responsible for a variety of autoimmune diseases and psychological problems. Therefore, the safe removal, the disease-causing foci and the rehabilitation of your teeth is important*. In recent decades, since the introduction of widespread mobile phone coverage, chronic diseases such as multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and ALS have increased significantly, but what is the connection?
Possible effects of amalgam on your body
Amalgam consists of half mercury and the other half is shared by zinc, silver, copper and tin. In Germany, amalgam must be disposed of as hazardous waste, yet it is still used for dental fillings, which is normally completely paradoxical and has long been banned in many countries. Amalgam fillings also react with various foods and in the process mercury can always dissolve and can then lead to poisoning of the entire organism.
Additional alloys and metal fillings of gold and silver pose another potential problem. These often react with each other and can lead to completely diffuse symptoms, such as headaches, aching limbs or dizziness, that you would probably never associate with your teeth. Due to an exchange of ions through saliva and oral mucosa, the ions can migrate from the less noble metal to the more noble metal and are suspected of creating a voltage field in the process, also known as the battery effect. This effect is amplified many times over by mobile radio fields. This can lead to irritation of brain and nerve cells and, in my opinion, makes it necessary to rehabilitate the teeth.
First symptoms of mercury poisoning
- Fatigue and headache and aching limbs
- Gum inflammations up to tooth loosening
- increased salivation, diarrhea and kidney problems
Symptoms of poisoning with chronic exposure
- Muscle twitching, agitation, anxiety and memory problems.
- Mood swings and personality changes
- Hearing and visual disturbances as well as speech and gait disturbances
Different metals in the mouth
In addition to mercury poisoning, metal intolerances are playing an increasingly important role. Metals in teeth, metals in industrially produced foods and cosmetics can interact to trigger a variety of hypersensitivity reactions and often have a toxic effect. Physical reactions include itching, pimples, pustules, hair loss and far more complex intolerance reactions, so that as many as 15 percent of patients can no longer tolerate even titanium, which is popular in surgery.
Fortunately, there is an alternative made of the biomaterial ceramic, which looks confusingly similar to real teeth. Safe removal of amalgam and metal-free restoration of your teeth will help you regain a bright smile.
My opinion: removal of mercury and remediation makes sense
Safe removal of amalgam under high safety measures is important to prevent further poisoning of the body by mercury during treatment. Over time, various metals and alloys have been used and have accumulated, especially in the mouths of elderly patients. These can also have a toxic effect and lead to gradual poisoning and require remediation.
Therefore, safe removal of all metal fillings and other potentially toxic substances, such as those from root canal treatments, is the basis for comprehensive rehabilitation of your dentition to rule out further poisoning. Platinum, cobalt, copper, chromium, iron and aluminum are present in the fillings. The latter has been debunked for causing breast cancer in deodorant sprays.
Safe removal of amalgam: Your protection is important to us!
When removing amalgam, the patient, dentist and staff wear respiratory protection and eye protection. You will receive oxygen through your nose and your oral cavity, around the teeth to be treated will be protected from the removed amalgam particles by a rubber-like cloth called a rubber dam. At the same time, you breathe in pure oxygen through your nose and are protected from the toxic fumes. In addition, a special suction system protects you from these very vapors, which was specially developed for safe amalgam restoration.
The treatment can be performed either under normal anesthesia, with the use of nitrous oxide or, in the case of anxious patients, under anesthesia. For the safe removal of mercury, high-speed, low-speed contra-angle handpieces and special tungsten carbide burs with optimum cutting action are used specifically for amalgam. The disposable cutters are disposed of after treatment due to heavy wear. These instruments minimize the development of mercury vapors.
The application of these protective measures is mandatory when it comes to removing amalgam from teeth safely, quickly and reliably.
Conclusion:
Mercury from amalgam fillings can be toxic and then lead to gradual poisoning of your body. The symptoms are often difficult to assign to a specific disease, because mercury can have a negative impact on the entire immune system and even paralyze it completely. Therefore, we consider it very important to get rid of toxic amalgam under very strict safety measures with subsequent sanitation of the teeth.
Health is a high good.
